If you live in an interesting part of the world with limited access to electrical power, combined with generator rationing, and increasing gasoline costs, an easy hack is to have your local electrician attach a Voltmeter/Amperage reader to your electrical board.

Those are inexpensive tools allowing you to see how much your appliances use up in term of electricity, preventing safety shutoffs due to overloading your power grid, and also managing your power consumption.

The Tulsa Tokarev Model 30/33 in 7.62x25 is a very potent legacy platform still prevalent in hotspots where there used to be Soviet influence or interference.

Despite its age and operating mechanism, this weapon and its various clones will outshoot even the most modern powerful handguns and cartridges.

Finding quality Soviet steel core ammo (and being able to afford it as it's quite expensive in Lebanon) is the only hassle, especially since the original TTs have been out of production since the late 1950s. Modern S&B ammunition is very good (and is also expensive) but doesn't offer you that armor piercing option. It does give you peace of mind as it's modern production and thus has almost no risks of squib loads.

Mauser 7.63x25 ammo can be safely shot through the TT but not the other way around, as the 7.62x25 has much higher pressure.

In conclusion, remember that, if you have to shoot at terrified opponents, huddled together, hiding inside a fridge, located in the trunk of a 1970s car, pick up a Tokarev. Choose real stopping power, accept no substitute 😂😈
